Privacy Policy

How XL Training handles your personal information.

Last updated: July 2026

XL Training (ABN 77 130 189 035) (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information, and how we comply with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide to us, including:

  • Contact and enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number, organisation, industry, group size, preferred dates and any message you send through our forms.
  • Booking details — the course, ticket tier and number of seats you book, and the name and email of attendees.
  • Payment information — where you pay online, your card details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Technical information — basic, aggregated analytics about how the site is used (such as pages viewed), which does not identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote;
  • process and confirm course bookings and payments;
  • send you booking confirmations, course reminders, and — where relevant — an invitation to refresh your accreditation;
  • deliver and improve our training services; and
  • meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we only send you marketing communications where you would reasonably expect it or where you have consented — you can opt out at any time.

Disclosure to third parties

We use trusted service providers to run our business, and we share only the information needed for them to perform their function:

  • Stripe — secure online payment processing.
  • Resend — sending booking and enquiry emails.
  • Vercel — website hosting and secure data storage.

Some of these providers may store data on servers located outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information securely. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Cookies

Our public website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. If we use analytics, it is configured to be privacy-friendly and does not identify individuals. A secure session cookie is used only for staff logging in to our admin area.

Data security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep your information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law — for example, we retain course completion records so we can issue refresher reminders when your accreditation is due.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
